I was caught by the shrub growing out from under the top slab of the grave; I guess that if you go for burial, you end up feeding something. I'll take the fire I think.Contax 167 with Zeiss 135/2.8 and HP5 film.
Old 35mm cameras and mainly photos taken on film, monochrome and colour. A few digital shots thrown in as well

I like this shot. Looks like a lovely old cemetery and church. I'm going with fire too. I was talking about that with my daughter and she mentioned some places that might be good for my ashes and I said, naw, take me there while I'm alive! My ashes can go anywhere.
great shot!
Nicely done!
Hmm. In spring or summer you coud write a sermon about life springing from death.
I think that's how the zombies get out!
Really like this shot.
Old graveyard shots are always interesting and this one is no exception.
its callede recyckling!!!...;-D Great shot..
Great shot! Sure they must have something to eat:D
Ooooh, that is eerie, a bit like a corpse poking it's limb out!
That's really interesting. I don't know, I like the idea of contributing to nature (burial vs. fire) :)
Life gives death gives life. You could submit the picture as a philosophy essay.
The small shrub gives the shot this mystery touch. Good one!
I rather like the idea of feeding plants with my bones.
