On holiday in Puglia, Italy, in September, my wife and daughter seemed to be pulled like magnets to any shops with this sort of sign outside. It can get boring waiting for them.Taken in the little town of Cisternino.
Old 35mm cameras and mainly photos taken on film, monochrome and colour. A few digital shots thrown in as well

Such signs are an absolute work of art, aren't they : and often they manage to remind you of a particular place far better than any landscape.
John I love Cisternino!!! I had a great lunch there with my Pugliese husband........beautiful memories.
PS be patient about the shoes "it's a girl thing"

Like you I'm more interested in the sign than the shoes. :)
Yet women generally do love shoes. I don't know where all that started. I guess it's the female equivalent of visiting the hardware store.
At least you managed a nice photo while you waited :-) One almost wanted to visit the shop.
And bags. dont forget the bags.
I know the feeling, even with more shoes than I need.
But in Rome, together with two friends, one who have a black belt in shopping, I left them in the shoe shops from time to time, to use my camera.....
Yes, I did buy ONE pair of shoes, not cheap, but so pretty!!
Nice logo!
I hope you had a good time in Italy.
I am going to Copenhagen soon.
